So a couple of weeks ago we're watching Enterprise, as is our norm on Wednesdays, and there is a scene where the Chief Security officer and the Chief Engineer decide to disobey the mandates of the mysterious space station that is currently repairing Enterprise and go poking around in some ventilation duct/secret tunnel.

"This is terrible," I sniffed to mr rampy. "They are senior officers and should be setting a better example for the rest of the crew."

Seconds later they got busted by the mysterious space station and beamed back to their ship where Captain Archer immediately called them on the carpet.

"You are senior officers," he scolded. "You should be setting a better example for the rest of the crew."

So clearly I have all the instincts needed to make me a crackerjack Star Fleet captain.
