Ok, it's not quite America's Cutest Retards, but the show FOX has slated for Arrested Development's slot in January is not that much better.

In other news, Arrested Development returns this Monday (at 7:00 Central time) to what will undoubtedly be record-low ratings seeing as how everyone now thinks it's canceled, plus FOX has put zero effort into promoting its post-sweeps return. Doubtless they will use its bad performance as justification for officially cancelling the whole series (not just the back half of the episodes, which is where things stand now) and pretend that they gave it half a chance. And we'll have to wait for the DVD set to see the rest of Season Three.

Which is why it would be great if everyone DID watch. It isn't officially canceled, so there is still a chance they'll pick it up for Season 4 (and maybe even air the rest of Season 3!), and in even better news, rumor has it that Brian Grazer is working on finding it a new home. So the more support Monday's show gets, the better.
