I was talking with some other mothers about fireproof clothing for kids. All of our baby sleepwear has these tags that basically claim you can hold your child in the flames like baby Achilles, and they won't ever catch fire.

One mother was talking about all the qualities baby/child mattresses are supposed to have, and she mentioned that theirs were fire-retardant as well.

She was kidding around like, "So if the house ever catches on fire, we'll be like 'Everybody on the mattress!' to keep ourselves safe while the house burns down around us."
